The Cardinals play tonight and tomorrow in the World Series -- hope we do well!
Yesterday we had a fluency quiz over the Amelia Earhart article. We also worked on vocabulary for our folktale until it was assembly time. I was very sad to lose the jaguar; hopefully we win him back next month.
In math, we talked about different types of angle pairs. I like this lesson! Remember -- complementary angles are two angles whose measures equal 90 degrees. Supplementary angles are two angles whose measures equal 180 degrees.
We had the final day of our second round of Ancient Egyptian rotations. Next week we are stepping away from these rotations but will pick them back up again the following week.
Have a great weekend and please cheer on my Cardinals!

be speciufiuc what? ]6-4 prac of what iu /need
DeleteSure practice 6-3(hint:draw it out for help)
Delete1-3 find x
1)it is a right angle. the angle shown is 22°
2)it is a x shape the given angle is 122°(remember when you draw it there are two vertical pairs)
3)another x the given angle is 108°(the line equals 180°so subtract the given angle from 180finger the missing angle)
For 4-5 find the measure of an angle that is complimentary( an angle thay equals 90°)to an angle with each measure.( technically just find the missing angle)
Delete4)43°
5)18°
Sorry I TOLD YOU THE ANSWER FOR #5 BUT JUST FIND THE OTHER ANGLE
DeleteFor 6-7 find the missing angle if this is a supplementary angle( an angle that equals 180°)
6)54°
7)119°
Sorry i cant write 8-10 because you need the diagram but here's 11
Delete11)CRITICAL THINKING. Which statement is NOT true for a pair of intersecting lines
A. They form two pairs of congruent angles.
B. They form four pairs of complimentary angles
C. They form four pairs of supplementary angles
D. They form two pairs of vertical angles
Here is 6-4
DeleteFind the missing angles(for1-2)then classify the triangle by its angles and its sides
1)two 70°angles two congruent sides
2)one 50° angle and one 40° angle no congruent sides
For3-4 draw the described triangle
Delete3) an obtuse scalene triangle
4) a triangle with a 2 inch side reference 2 50°angles
5)REASONING Can a scalene triangle have two congruent angles? Why or why not?
6)A right triangle has a 28° angle. What are the measures of the other angles?
A. 28° & 62°
B. 28° & 90°
C. 62° & 90°
D. 62° & 118°
7) WRITING TO EXPLAIN Are all equilateral triangles acute triangles? Explain.
