Today was such an odd day! I felt "off" all day...
We managed to accomplish a lot nonetheless.
In language arts, we started reading a new selection called Chuck Close, Up Close. We worked on Depth of Knowledge questions for the selection. We also sorted our spelling words and took notes on avoiding double negatives.
In math we worked with area of parallelograms and triangles. Remember that you may use a calculator for tomorrow's math!
We had day two of the second round of Greek rotations. You know how I feel about Ancient Greece!

Homework:

  • reading log
  • fluency (art, questions due Friday)
  • math practice 16-3
  • Studies Weekly due Friday
  • spelling choice (except those of you who missed none on the pretest, I forgot to give you the challenge words)
  • writing: He would never forget the town called __________.

      didnt you read the post? she said not to do the spelling if you got 100% on the pretest because she didnt give us the challenge words
